slasher riot part 8

T/N: A lot of interesting information. I wonder if the two previous fine members will appear one day. I kind of doubt that though. It'd also be great to learn a bit more on Yumenosaki Academy's situation outside of Japan.


Souma: Take thaaaaaaat!
 
Souma: How's that! I easily won! Even when it comes to spinning tops, the Kanzaki clan has no rivals ♪
 
Madara: Hahaha! I completely lost! You really aren't just all talk, Kanzaki-san! Splendid, wonderful ♪
 
Chiaki: Mikejima-san!
 
Madara: Hm? Ahhh, Chiaki-san, you came earlier than expected!
 
Madara: But don't worry! Sengoku.... Shinobu-san, was it? I handled that kid carefully so he wouldn't get hurt. ♪
 
Madara: Mmm. Chiaki-san's a bit too overprotective, so I had no choice but to place him out of your sight in order to gauge his abilities.
 
Madara: If you always protect and save them, they won't grow up to be proper subordinates, you know?
 
Chiaki: I have no intention of treating them like subordinates. Everyone in "Ryuuseitai" is my ally and friend.
 
Madara: Your words and actions don't match. It's nice to chase after ideals, but...... Chiaki-san's a kid that can see reality, right?
 
Kanata: Hey!
 
Madara: Uwah?! That hurt, Kanata-san!
 
Madara: Your "chop" is more like a flurry of chops, so it'd be great if you'd stop! I thought my head was going to be cut off?!
 
Kanata: Even though you look so lively...... Chiaki~, I "captured" the "villain".
 
Kanata: For now, should we tie him up?
 
Madara: Ahh, as soon as you guys came, it became my loss.
 
Madara: I surrender, so I'd like it if you could not tie me up, I don't particularly like being constricted. It's alright, I won't struggle or anything.
 
Souma: Captain-dono! What skillful technique! You captured the "slasher" so easily! ♪
 
Kanata: If this guy "seriously" tried to run, I wouldn't be able to catch him. After all, this "earth" is his "territory"......
 
Kanata: I won't win at a game of tag.
 
Kanata: Besides, this "rogue" has no intention of running away. That's why I was able to "seize" him.
 
Madara: Mmm, I'd love it if you could not call me a "rogue".
 
Madara: It's true that I'm a "nomad" that never stays in one place and likes wandering around though.
 
Madara: I guess it really is a fitting phrase for me, hahaha ♪
 
Madara: Moving on! I achieved my goal, so there's no need to run - that's a correct assumption! Mama will give you full marks, good, you did good ♪
 
Kanata: Urghhhh~....... Don't act so friendly with me, it's "unpleasant".
 
Madara: Fufu. Kanata-san, while I wasn't here...... I heard you supported Chiaki-san?
 
Madara: I wonder what led to your change of heart. Weren't you the alien-like kid who never got close to anyone?
 
Madara: All the other Oddballs lived peacefully with everyone else...... but perhaps things are starting to change?
 
Kanata: Please don't try to "analyze" me. I don't like that sort of thing.
 
Madara: That was rude of me, nobody would like it if others spoke about them like they fully knew them. It's a bad habit of mine to treat everyone like my own child.
 
Madara: After all, I'm not everyone's real Mama.

Madara: But anyway, rest easy. I don't plan to steal Kanata-san's spot, because I have no intention on returning as "Ryuuseitai"'s vice captain.
 
Madara: This "unit" system doesn't mesh well with me...... and I have no idea when I'll be called back overseas anyway.
 
Chiaki: Right, I actually wanted to ask about that. Mikejima-san, is everything okay overseas? Weren't you travelling all around the world as an exchange student?
 
Madara: That's right. As Rei-san's successor, I was working hard at that, but everything seems to be quite secure now, so......
 
Madara: I was temporarily relieved from my position, so I was planning to focus on doing idol activities within Japan.
 
Madara: Also, do you remember Nagisa-san* from "fine"......?
 
*T/N: Back when Tsumugi was still in fine, there was Eichi, then there were two other mysterious members. One of them's called 凪砂 and the other's 日和. I can't find the readings on either of their names, so I Googled the most common readings and came up with "Nagisa" (凪砂) and "Hiyori" (日和). If that's wrong, please do tell me!
 
Madara: The company that guy's in has been taking over several of Yumenosaki Academy's overseas sister schools.
 
Madara: Frankly, it feels like they're shutting out everyone from Yumenosaki Academy.
 
Madara: As Rei-san's substitute, I tried stepping in, but unfortunately...... by myself, I can't really compete with a whole organization.
 
Chiaki: Hmm. I'm not too familiar with overseas matters, but is that what's happening......? It smells of unrest, do you need help?
 
Madara: Hahaha. Is this the time to worry about others, Chiaki-san?
 
Madara: Go do what you need to do. When I actually need help, I'll ask you.
 
Madara: ......In any case, I won't let it get to a level where someone ends up crying.
 
Madara: I was once a hero. As someone who took on "Ryuuseitai's" spirit of justice, I won't let villains do as they please.
 
Madara: At the very least, I'll vanquish any evil at the edge of this country's border.
 
Madara: Rather. I might as well ask the caretaker, so, Souma-san and Shinobu-san...... can I borrow them for a while?
 
Madara: I kind of have an obligation to join the "Wisteria Festival", see. I want to use them there.
 
Kanata: Hmm? Souma and Shinobu? Isn't that a strange "choice"......?
 
Kanata: You don't need our "permission", they're both "free" people......
 
Kanata: And it's you who's participating, so the "Wisteria Festival" will be an "individual" live anyway.
 
Souma: Hey, don't just talk whatever you want! When did I agree to cooperate with you, "slasher"?!
 
Madara: Well, it's your choice on whether or not to participate. But it's good experience to sometimes work in as an individual, away from your "unit".
 
Madara: Ummm...... it'll be stimulating, you'll be able to widen the scope of your art, see ♪
 
Madara: Well, just think about it. I won't push you...... but while you're playing, I think it would be good to experience and observe a wide variety of things.
 
Madara: Children grow stronger through playing. Staying inside and just staring at your textbooks or reference books won't help you train your muscles.
